After serving as a pastor for more than 30 years, Dr. John S. Powers has formed The John S. Powers Ministries. The goal of this international work is to build the Kingdom by developing followers of Jesus Christ. As the author of The Bodylife Journey: Guiding Believers into Ministry and Redefining Church Membership, he also has written multiple pieces in various Christian magazines for many years. John's most current work entitled I Believe: Bridging Belief with Behavior is an exciting in-depth study of biblical doctrine. In addition to his extensive writing and speaking, Dr. Powers has formed a production company with the goal of launching a global television and radio ministry.
Dr. Powers is sought as a conference speaker across America He is available for staff retreats, church consulting, pulpit supply, interim pastorates and conference speaking. Dr. Powers' hobbies include fly-fishing and golf. He has been married to Connie Powers for 31 years and together they have one son, Nathan, who is a freshman in college.
