Jerri Herring is Executive Director of BACE—Baptist Association of Christian Educators. For twenty years she was a growth consultant with the LifeWay’s Bible Teaching/Reaching Division. She has been a consultant with the Montgomery Baptist Association in Montgomery, Alabama and with the Noonday Baptist Association in Atlanta.
An outstanding conference leader, she leads conferences across the nation helping Sunday School leaders in local churches, associations, and state conventions discover principles and develop strategies for growing their Sunday schools. She has been one of the featured conference leaders each year at Ridgecrest and Glorieta Conference Centers. She is the author of and contributor to numerous books and publications. One of her greatest accomplishments occurred at Clearview Baptist Church in Brentwood, Tennessee. After leaving LifeWay Christian Resources as a consultant, she became Minister of Education at Clearview. In a period of two and a half years, she led the church to create 46 new Bible teaching units. During those years the church grew from 450 to 900 in attendance. This lady knows how to get the job done!
